At a global commercial vehicle manufacturer, new and updated supplier project requests were created and maintained entirely through email and Excel. With dozens of managers and stakeholders updating information in parallel, teams often worked from outdated versions of the same files. This led to discrepancies, limited visibility, and uncertainty around the latest project status.

I designed a role-based project and portfolio management portal that established a single source of truth. Project Managers could create, update, and track projects; Process Engineers could add unit-specific details and maintain handover information; Portfolio Managers could review, govern, and manage the overall project portfolio; and PRU Users could access the latest project summaries, milestones, and reports.

By bringing these workflows into one shared system, the portal helped teams work from consistent data, improve collaboration, and make faster, more informed project decisions.
